Main Features

Key functional features include a LCD console, handlebars, stabilizers, transport wheels, levelers, pedals, air vents, and an adjustable seat. A battery bay and fan assembly are also included. Handlebars and pedals contribute to the proper operation of the bike.Comfort features include a completely and fully adjustable seat, padded foot rests, and a magazine holder.

Console Features

The console features a clear LCD screen displaying the workout data in sequences of five seconds. The data reflected on the console display includes time, calories, distance, speed, and pedal revolutions. This is all clearly shown in a vivid digital numerical display.

The time display will show the duration of the workout to a maximum display of 99:59. Once this time is exceeded, the number will reset to 0:00. The calorie (CAL) display reflects an estimation of the calories you have burned during the exercise session. The RPM display reflects Revolution Per Minute and maxes out at 200. The speed display will display the speed of the machine in either kilometers per hour or miles per hour and is display up to one decimal place such as 7.5 mph. 99.9 is the maximum display.

Distance presents the miles or kilometers up to two decimal places such as 3.88 miles. The display can reach a maximum of 99.99 until resetting to 0.00. You have the option of manually setting metric or English Imperial measurement units.

The proper floor space required for this bike is measured at 82″ x 61″ (2.1m x 1.5m). The maximum user weight on the bike is 250lbs.

The Schwinn Airdyne AD2 requires 2 AA batteries are part of its power requirements and the operational voltage overall is 1.0 – 3.3VDC.

    I ride an Airdyne 5 days/week. The battery operated unit doesn’t work. I would like to know the number of pedal revolutions/mile.
